Arriving in the valley the cold winds began to blow, i began walk with each step i could hear metal clanging against each other. I felt odd, out of my element i was covered head to toe in blue metal armor a shield on one hand and long spear like object in the other i had heard it referred as a lance. They called me the blue knight, i had little understanding of what that meant but i knew what my mission was like. I entered the arena as saw waves of people seated in the seats, i stood silently watching as more began to pile in through the gates.
The loud booms of peoples voices began to quiet as the silence crept across the arena floor, they began welcoming the visitors and made ready for this so called joust to begin, the first two jousters were called forward one of which was myself. i stood at one end and summoned my kirin as looked and waited i focused one thing and on thing only.......damn this armor makes to much noise. it was over before i knew it i fell to the floor with a loud crash the green knight was victorious in that round. i stood up and brushed off my gear, clearing my head i continued on eventually winning the round.
Cheers erupted across the stands as the next two knight entered the arena, red and black were to face each other i watched as their lances exploded with deadly accuracy. I was not use to such event and tried to pay attention as best i could. i kept wondering why there was so little bloodshed i shrugged it off and continued watching the rest of the round. In the end the black knight was declared the winner.
After a round of questioning the crowd the black knight and myself made ourselves ready, tightened my grip on the shield and and the first sound of go my etheral kirin ran across the field falling to the ground with yet another loud crash i got up a little more quickly this time. we went back and forth some runs he won other i won but in the end the black knight was grand champion. i learned my lesson that day next time ill carry a bola instead of a shield but all in all it was a good day.....I Came..... I Saw........... I Stabbed
