Toshiro had cleared out what little he needed from his room at Tharagoads home. Omura Katsumoto was taking the boy to Whispering Winds Village. There, He would become apart of the Militia and train as a Samurai. As he went to leave Tharagoad put his hand out. Toshiro grabed it and pulled Tharagoad into an embrace. "No matter where you go, you will always have a home here"Tharagoad said. " I will return one day, to see you, make sure your still kicking" Toshiro said with a smile. He then got on his horse and started down the path." I will watch over the boy" Omura said to Tharagoad. "Hes a strong lad, and a damn good swordsman, now go, and make him a Warrior" Tharagoad said. Omura nodded. Toshiro Spent the next 5 years in Whispering Winds. He flourished in the ways of the Samurai. Omura was a stern Sensei, even more than Tharagoad. Learning the ways of the Samurai was like learning how to walk again, everyway you moved, the way you breathed, the way you sat, laid down, and ate was all in line with the way of the Samurai. Toshiro fought in many battles along side Omura and the Militia. One day, while outside practicing Tameshigiri, Toshiro noticed a woman walking down the road, she wore a lavender kimono and had swords tucked in her belt, she was a Samurai. Her hat blocked her face. He continued with his practice. Then he stopped, she was behind him. He tucked just in time to keep from loosing his head. Her form was perfect. She never even lifted her head. She sheathed her sword, Toshiro keept his drawn, for a moment then sheathed it. " You are strong, like your father" she said. He recognized her voice. Kiyohara pulled off her hat. "Mother?" Toshiro gasped."My son, Ive missed you terriably. They embraced each other tightly, both with tears in there eyes. "I have grown up strong Mother". Toshiro said. " I can see that my son, I can see" Kiyohara said, holding her Son's face. "Where is father, how is he?" Toshiro asked. "Toshiro, your father has died". Toshiro couldnt even speak, tears streamed down his face but he didnt make a sound. "He did in his sleep, peacefully" Kiyohara explained. "I never got to see him again" Toshiro siglently said." He saw you, every night he dreamt of his son" said Kiyohara with a smile. "You must know how hard it was for him Toshiro, he loved you over all". "I know now that what he did was the best thing a he could" Toshiro said. "Come, he left you something" Kiyohara said, and with an encantation, she opened a moon gate. When they came through they were in a forest and in front of them was a Tokuno style home. They walked in and in the room to the side was his fathers Armour and Sword. " This is yours now, this armour and this sword has been in your family for 600 years" His mother said.
"I am unworthy of this" Toshiro said. "No, your are not only worthy but you are obligated, your father was one of the greatest Samurai who ever lived, by wearing his armour you honor him, and all those who came before him"said Kiyohara. Toshiro leaned over and picked up his fathers sword, he was amazed at how light it was. He pulled it out of its scabbard to reveal just two things inscribed on it, the words Honor and Duty. The next moring, in his fathers Armour Toshiro saddled his horse. "Here, you fathers rune book, it will help you get to diffrent places to train", his mother said while handing him the book. "Thank you mother, I love you", Toshiro said. " I love you too my son, so very much", Kiyohara said. Toshiro put the book into his back pack and headed into the forest. He would never make it back for his mother's funeral. Some speak of seeing a Samurai in dark Armour, showing up, helping, and leaving. It has been 14 years since the day Toshiro Hitirra was brought to Tharagoad, and every night the old Paladin stands on his pourch, hoping that a Samurai in dark armour, will pay him a visit.
