Ok. I've used Trillian for years but it's started acting funny. I'd get "auto-responses" everytime I'd send a message to someone. So...I said screw that and DL'd the real ICQ. WOW does it suck now. Ads? No real menu control? No customizing of sounds? MORE ADS? So then I went to www.trillian.cc and looked at what they had new. Turns out that my copy of Trillian is like 3 years old. So I dl'd the new version and they've made LOTS of improvements. What Trillian is: It's a single interface that accesses (or can access) ICQ, AIM, Yahoo, MSN, and IRC all at the same time. Your contact list is merged together and it all works like a CHARM. No ads. Custom menu control. better sounds and look. Get it and uninstall ICQ. Just not till after you've installed Trillian. Cause its gonna import all your contacts from any IM programs you have running already. No kidding. It's cooler now than it's ever been. It's FREE and it's AD free.

Oh. And even if you don't use more than one IM program, it's still a better interface than the actual ICQ one. You'll love it....
